Open Water

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with our instructors to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program.
Courses can be taught in English, Mandarin, Malay and most European languages!

What do I need to start?

Virtually anyone who is in good health (form in english or chinese) , reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. You must be older than the age of 14 to begin the PADI Open Water Diver program. For those of you who are not above the age of 14 and would like to participate in the PADI Open Water Diver Program, then the PADI Junior Open Water Diver program is available to you.

What will I do?

Throughout the course, you'll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five confined open water dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four to five open water dives

How long will it take?

The PADI Open Water Course can be taken as a 3 or 4 day course.
We highly recommend taking the 4 day option, which allows for more time to develop into a good diver! This 4 day option will cost RM1400.
The 3 day course is only recommended for those who are completely confident and comfortable in the ocean, particularly for those who have perhaps had a try dive expereince before. This 3 day course will cost RM1125. Please note if you are unable to complete the course in this time, you could add an additional day for RM425 if there are instructors available. However the course structure is a lot more restrictive & intense!
If you are short in time, you can also complete your theory online prior to arrival- for more details see below.

If you are short on time or would like to maximize your time in the water then it is possible to complete the PADI Open Water Diver Theory class online before you arrive and take the practical part of the course here. You will need to pay a fee to PADI which is currently AUD210 and can then complete the 2 day practical part of the course here with us.
All REGISTERED E-learning students will receive a discount of RM375 on their Open Water Course.
